There are 3 types of heating systems you can use for your pool or spa. At Aquabright pools we are able to install, Repair or advise on all of the systems below to help your time in your pool be the most relaxing. Each system has their advantages and disadvantages so let us help you decide which is right for you.
Solar Heating being the most popular and cost effective method uses the suns energy to heat the water externally. Through the use of a solar pump your pool water is pushed through a system of tiny capillary tubes before your pool system returns the heated water back to the pool.
The System works best in areas that receive a lot of sunshine allowing the water to reach your desired temperature.
Electric heating involves the use of an Electric unit which uses the heat from the surrounding air and transferring it to your pool via a heat exchanger. The electric heating system will use more power than the solar system but has the ability to work when the sun isn't around. Highly dependent on your location you may not notice a large increase in pool temperature.
A Gas heater is the most consistent and effective method of heating your pool all year round as it does not rely on any external sources. In doing so though it can be the most expensive. With the ability to heat a pool or spa in a few hours it is widely popular especially in spa pools allowing the desired temperature to be set resulting in a more relaxing time.
